Thank you Zippy, Rosieben and Helen Jelly for the thread.
I never quite know what to do with December as it seems to go quite normally until @20th then we get my Dad's birthday, Christmas and then we live on leftovers until the end of the year.
We have decided not to buy lots of Christmas munchies this year but we were watching Jay Rayner on the One Show the other day talking about Stilton and both developed a craving for cheese so we're going to get some exotic stuff this year!
Anyway, I'll stay with what I know. Can I go for £380 for December please Helen.August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -

As everyone generally says, it is up to you whether you include them or not. However, I know I have bought my SM savings stamps when I have been grocery shopping and so have already included them in my other shopping costs. So, those will be enjoyable, over-indulgent spends! I only have about £20 but I am thinking wine, cheese, chutney & nibbles for the days between Christmas & New Year when we are out a lot & just fancy something rich & tasty for supper!:)
I have just declared (an alariming amount) on November & so now please could I ask to be put down for £150 for December with my plan of attack being using PLAN B!
I have done my first grocery shop of the month which should last us until I go shopping next Thurs/Fri. I am quietly :j at the success of my first week as I am sure I have everything for the meal plan. May have to get some more bread / wraps for lunches but THAT IS IT! I spent £15 in Aldi & £19.29 in Tesco (was £22.29 but had £3 voucher)! That included 2 bottles of wine too!
I am going to have one of my favourite ways to spend a Sunday today. Cooked breakfast followed by baking & pottering in the house! Couple of sherries later whilst I cook the dinner & I will be sorted!!
Thanks everyone for your support, ideas & running of the thread.2017 GC O-£93.46/£160; S-£136.26/£160; A-£130.55/£160; J-£47.12/£160;

Hello,
Didn't do too well last month, and its Christmas this month so no point in giving myself an unrealistic budget.
£300 please. This will exclude any vouchers/points I may aquire which will go towards Christmas eve, Christmas day, boxing day. I have three grown ups visiting for these days so I'm having to think about budgeting for them. They always bring stuff with them though. But still.....
Good luck everyone!0
