Same happened to me when I applied the other day. Turned me down due to a failed credit check, which is nonsense after ordering my credit report! I have sent a strongly worded letter to the finance dept, so just waiting to see what they say.
It sounds like a great deal though for £10 a month, just a shame they're making it so hard to sign up for it!
I'm thinking conspiracy theory - they have had such a large response to this offer that this is maybe their way of limiting how many more sign up??!!0
