Don't want to jinx it but I'm having contractions!

I had 2 sweeps with my last and final child, then had to be induced twice, urgh, owch best thing is too keep moving and baby will come out soon, or when she is good and ready

• Going to have a hot bath later
• I also plan on spending as much time this evening on my birthing ball as possible!!!

Oh and can't forget knackered myself out, aggravated my SPD and given myself backache in the process! This better work or I won't be happy! lol!

If anyone else can think of anything that I could do that won't kill my off completely or drive me insane I'd appreciate it I've been told that Castor oil just makes you very ill and that you'd have to eat the equivalent of 10 pineapples for that to work so will be avoiding those! lol! ... Also does anyone have any recommendations for a spicy indian meal for someone who normally can't handle anything hotter than a Korma??? LOL

How about another tack?? Instead of all this running and jumping, try chilling!

Feet up, do sod all and use the waterworks if neccessaary to get others to help out. Cup of tea at the ready and some good DVD's.

If we can't get Kaitlin out, let her rest for a little while!

She can't, she's nesting. It's an urge that's very difficult to control. I had it too (with hindsight), thought I was just cleaning the sofa (and the kitchen, and the windows, and the rest of the house...), inbetween braxton hicks, because I was being induced the next day. Started that night.
Funnily enough, I've never felt the urge since

I've just had my fifth by c-section but all the others were natural! Playing with your nips starts contractions - get your OH to think of it as tuning in a radio! LOL! Also pinching and massaging the webbed bit of skin between your thumb and fore finger can start them off!

I-A I did all the housework stuff and it seemed to bring mine on (labour that is) and then I was knackered while in labour!:rolleyes:
why don't you make as many plans as you can for tonight, stuff you REALLY want to do -:rotfl: :rolleyes: meet friends/go out/see parents/batch cook-that's bound to bring it on! lol
