Jimmythewig: I was just looking at paygo and for £15 you can get all you can eat data, 300 mins and 3000 texts but the phone would cost £210 approx which over 24 months totals £570 whereas contract would cost £408. Unless there is a cheaper top up I don't know about?
I don't know what it's called and I can never find it online, but when I top up with £10 I get 600 texts, 200mb internet and fair usage three to three free calls that all last for 3 months. In my case, I use about 200 texts a month and so £10 lasts me just over 3 months!
If you top up more than £10 you get more free stuff.

But they never seem to advertise it!

If you joined us between June 2009 and September 2010 you’ll be on our 3Pay tariff.
3Pay gives you a bundle of free texts, free internet and free Three-to-Three calls every time you top-up. Once you’ve used up your free allowance, calls are 26p per minute and text messages are 11p per text."

    Sadly not available any more.

3 100% do put limits on accounts, they lower the credit limit to say £1 over the tariff. seen it advertised in 3 shops before I left them
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
