I always wondered why someone at my work asks her team for their £2 coins in exchange for normal £1 coins!! I just thought she had a £2 fetish :D

New Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

    Debt at Highest: £43,073
  • You know the thread is popular when spammers attack!! :rotfl:

Right I've had a look at my bank and my spreadsheets and to be quite honest they don't add up and I don't know what I'm missing  There should be a MrT delivery coming anytime now, plus a couple of other things "hanging" out of my account (as in the money is gone but it won't tell me why )

Sooooo I just paid off what my spreadsheet told me I can definitely afford and will hope to top it up further through the month (doesn't seem too likely this close to xmas but we shall see!!)

    £150/£1550

I just wanted to add that I only have two presents left to buy for this year. Everyone thought I was mad starting my Chrimbo shopping in August, but it's all done and dusted with most things bought in various sales, therefore I don't have a huge dent in my wages and I'm not being stung by the shops upping their prices at this time of year. Just a FYI for people to start doing it in the Jan sales (if you don't already) and a tap on the back for myself :)

Well done :T thats brilliant, I a lucky this year as OH and I have decided to wait until the sales and only parents to buy for with an agreed budget of £15 per person so helps alot. The advantage of having a small family and friends who do secret santa !

  • My df has just transferred me my half of his wages [ ;) ] so i ave paid £50 on Next [though that wont actually equate to £50 with the interest and what not so i shall update remaining balance along with the statements, ill just post how much i have paid in for now] and the £36 min payment off the CC.

My plan of attack is to spend what ever is left at the end of each month, as that is how i save up my wedding fund, and I have everything i need for that now. However, with christmas, and the extra grocery shopping that is need, i cant do that this month, so that is my plan of attack starting next money. I think the best way forward is to start with the next account, as that is the only one with interest being added as it stands.
