I've started being thrifty... housemate left a handwash bottle on the side in the bathroom empty. Whilst stood in the shower washing off the shampoo this evening I ripped off the label and decanted my non-pump-dispenser shower gel into it. Then I used just one pump, which was 1/4 my usual non-pump amount. I'm amazed!!! Must find more for shampoo and conditioner.

Awwwww thanks CW2, I only started it cos you guys gave me the encouragement to on my diary!

You know I didn't used to the like Christmas as I was always skint, hated crowded shopping centres and always felt pressured to buy really expensive things for people. Now it's different. I see Christmas as it should be. A time to give people gifts that will make them happy and mean something. A time to spend with family and friends.

Plus....MUPPETS CHRISTMAS CAROL IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:j:j:j:j

I keep imagining the feeling just before Christmas (or hopefully sooner) when I make that last payment. That will be the best xmas present I've ever had and will probably top the feeling of pride when I graduated. This is what is keeping me going...

After this I think it will be saving for a house deposit in 2013 but maybe I'm getting a bit ahead of myself here :rotfl:
