All my ebay listings are up and selling well which I am really pleased about. It did take me two days though.

:jYaay! Glad they are selling. I've got about 20 listings up, I've got the dentist this morning (boohiss-two fillings :() and then will do some more today. Some of my smaller items have bids -an empty Pandora bead gift box has two people bidding on it against each other:rotfl:-and lots of watchers so hopefully will get some decent money for things.

Excellent stuff! I have a box of things at the back of my lounge that I must get around to photographing and putting on. I did a load in early Dec and made about £120, which is goign to go straight to my CC - will update total soon :) It's annoying how much work it takes to put stuff on, but it's worth it - money for my old rubbish and a clearer house! Good luck with your sales!

    Hi
Never had Virgin so i can't really comment on them. What package do you have with them?
We have Sky and the full tv package is less than £75; or do you have internet included in this amount?
We have Sky Sports for the OH adn he wouldn't like to be without it!!
Also if you are happy with Virgin then it would be worth ringing them up and saying that you are thinking of leaving them for Sky to see what they will offer you to stay

Thanks freez I think i'll give virgin a call first. the £75 is including calls and broadband.

    Important Notice
To help me run this thread easily, could you please all post your totals in large text and in a bold colour, i.e.:
    £265.43/£7685.67
(where the first amount is the total you have paid off so far in this challenge and the second amount is the total you pledged to clear by Xmas 2012.
It would also be a big help if you could also put with it your number from the 2nd post.
i.e. another £50 paid off so now the total for
    #001 is £315.43/£7685.67
By the way, don't worry about working out your % paid as I can do that for you!

    . I'd like to join please :)
It's taking me so long to read the whole thread as it seems i'm starting late but this might just keep me on the straight and narrow! I have worked out my debt to be £14,382.21 But have included interest payments for the year as I literally want nothing left at the end. Its a pretty big ask!!

The ways i'm going to achieve this is fleabay, bootsales, taking lunches to work, meal planning (making lots of soup mainly) and not spending anything extra. I work full time and will have a bonus in the year so fingers crossed! Good luck everyone :)

    Hello everyone!

Finally, payday has arrived and I am able to update on my repayments:

    #135 is £173.02/ £1786.19 (9.68%)

I look at this and think that I paid £200 off this morning and nearly £30 is swallowed up by interest! Shocking really, but I think it's the incentive I need to pay more as the month progresses.

It's awful isn't it? But those interest amounts WILL go down, slowly but surely. Keep at it and you'll get there.
