Morning all, #149 reporting. Another surprise phone call from Vanquis last night refund of repayment protection just like that! Bit odd but still! Can you pop another £17.25 onto my payments.

If it hadn't been you guys don't thinkI would have dared call up and challenge this and ask for the refund!

jakes mum will that disclaimer stand up in court?;) I'm hooked on swagbucks now but dunno how people earn points so quickly, am I missing summat?

kerri you sound like you're feeling better

Thanks mf0u1098 for keeping us all on track.

Everyone is doing so well :T

Did the final Christmas shop last night, if we've not bought it now, we'll manage without. Each year we spend more than we plan to thought we've kept closer to the track this year. Roll on 2012, the year of the debt-buster! xxx
  • Morning DFWs :santa2:

Hope you're all well? Well done for all the debt busting!!

Just wanted to update for anyone who remembers I was debating whether to use my CC before payday. Well I did end up having to use it, but I have paid it all off since payday! (I would not have done this without all your little voices in my head saying 'pay it back...pay it back'!!!) Now I'm going to cancel that card once I've cleared the balance (it's the only one I know the pin to!!!!).

Off to buy some oven cleaner this afternoon....but will get it from Mr H&Bs rather than one of the more expensive shops!!:rotfl:

    xx

Morning again, right updated spread sheet paid off Wonga and saved £1.87 in interest! Paid all the bills and worked it out with interest. So grand total stands at £760.61

Sounds really impressive until you break it down only £123.14 over paid. But every penny counts!
  • Hi everyone, just been reading the thread and would love to join in. I am on a DMP so am paying each month to them but there is my OH's cc which are a big total but I contributed to the amount so would like to also pay towards them. Could you please put me down for £3000 please? Its not the total amount but its an amount which I would like to start off with. Some really great tips on here! Thank you
