Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the snowball calculator for telling you which debt to get rid off first but I think it can sometimes scare you with how long it will take to pay off. My DFD says something in 2013 on the snowball calculator but now it's up to me to reduce that by selling on fleabay/amazonia, reducing grocery bills etc. I like to think of myself in competition with the snowball calculator, I will beat it down that hill!!!!!
I think your right, I'm now addicted to SB and I'll be doing some fleabay after Christmas, all going towards my debt busting. I love the thought of being in competition with the snowball calculator :j
I'm going to be super tight after new year and not waste money on things such as buying lunch and travelling journeys which are not needed in my car, plus remmbering to claim my mileage from work. :mad:I will stop spending on things I don't need :eek:

For whatever reason, I've had another think about shifting this debt and if my maths is correct I'd only need to shift £101.68 per day. That's a pretty big amount, but equally, it doesn't sound that much if you think about the ways I could make extra money. So, with that in mind, I'm changing how much I'm going to pay off.
Wow, what a wonderful and inspirational post - good luck with your positive attitude you're bound to succeed xxI think your right, I'm now addicted to SB :j
:rotfl:So is my husband!:rotfl:......and my kids :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Fingers and toes crossed lol
I've got more than enough for a car boot sale in my house, and that's before I've looked through the copious amounts of stuff I have at my Mum's...I may have left home nearly 10 years ago, but I've never gotten round to actually taking most of my stuff. I seem to have just bought new stuff :rotfl:
I can think of at least 3 designer dresses just taking up room in one of the wardrobes I have at her's so at some point over Christmas I'm going to pack a suitcase full of things to throw on ebay :jDeleting everything to make sure MoneySupermarket don't get any of my personal details to sell to following Martin's sell out move :money:0 -
Everyone has different circumstances Skintbint but we're all on here because our debt is crippling us no matter the amount. Happy to have you on the team :j l:

Welcome on board! This is possibly the nicest thread I have found on the forum, and hopefully it'll spur me to be in the red (Edit - I clearly mean black) by next Christmas. And if I am then I may dress up in red too!DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!

Morning Everyone
No 103 reporting in.
It's lovely reading how everyone is doing. I have come to a stop at the moment until the next payday. Next month I have my road tax to pay which cuts down what I have to throw at debts. Anyway I need to find a lot to keep on track so have been searching house for stuff to ebay.

Good morning everyone,
Regarding Fleabay, I'm sure it was earlier in the thread that the prices drop significantly in January so I wonder if that's the time to look for cheap presents for Christmas 2012 (I'll need to be super organised to maximise debt repayments AND Christmas!) :rotfl: but I suspect if you want better money for your goods then you should maybe wait until February.
Have a good day everyone
p.s. shattered today after staying up SBing until midnight0
