Hugs to you Dorset Girl, I've currently got a sore throat and runny nose, not sure if ive got tonsilitis coming or if its just from the cold. I also keep getting pain flash through my ear
really hoping it will bu**er off by christmas. I always panic when I get throat problems as both my sisters have had glandular fever and I didnt catch it when either of them had it, plus my eldest sister got M.E from glandular fever and as I already have M.E I worry that mine will get worse if I contracted it
On a happier note, im off to see Jake in his school play and taking Lily with me. Shes very excited and im wondering what shes going to do as half of them are dressed as Father Christmas :rotfl:
Oh and its SNOWING!!! Lily just looked out the window and announced 'it IS christmas now!!' ooooo I feel all christmassy nowI probably wouldnt if I had to drive in it, but I dont sooooo YAYYYYYYY SNOWWWWWW

Morning all,
The last day of school and nursery for my two, so I'm dashing about trying to get lots of annoying Christmassy jobs done before 2pm.
Just zooming in & out again to report another 3 payments have gone out today making my running total
#064 £176.70/£13,210.36
We had a quick snow shower this morning in amongst the rain so fingers crossed we can use our new sledges soon. My 2 yr old has been looking at it longingly every time we go to the garage
Oh and can I take back what I said about the meanies at Barclaycard? It turns out they aren't so bad after all, had a nice long conversation with a lovely lady there yesterday who empathised about nursery fees and our situation as she went through the same thing a few years back.. the result being they have finally agreed to freeze interest for a year & then review it in Jan 2013.. But I wont have the debt in 2013 as im going to pay it all off next year _party_ Happy days!
Have a good day!DF by Christmas 2014 #116 | £435 / £2931.070 -
Pay day for me so I've paid another £7.77 off a card! (The whole OCD with numbers thing again LOL) It's not much but I think I'm going to do better with little and often
My new total then is now up to £77.77/£2100 #98

Got really annoyed yesterday! The power went off twice as I was doing surveys worth £1.75!! :mad:In debt no more!0

So annoyed this morning, got paid but when I checked the account I had gone overdrawn yesterday so that's a £25 charge AGAIN this month!
2012 is going to be the year I stop using my debit card!
Can I get some advice off you lovely people?
I have a credit card with Barclays which is currently charging me nearly £60 a month interest, so logic says that I should throw as much money at it as possible.
However, I also have a First Direct card which currently stands at £321. I could pay this off today and close the card which would be soooo satisfying!
But hubby says we should throw extra money at the Barclaycard as the interest on the First Direct card is only around a fiver a month.
Both cards are on the same interest rate.
What would you do?0 -
