Well folks, today is exactly a month since I created this challenge. In that time we have gathered 161 wonderful team members and pledged to clear our debts totalling a whopping...

Out of this we have already paid off in just the 1st month...

This is such an amazing achievement especially given how expensive this time of year is.

I also think it is fitting that we have just reached our 100th page and almost 2000 posts. I love reading each of them an am sorry that I cannot reply to each but it is so fast moving!

I cannot wait to see all your totals paid grow over the next 12 months and this time next year we will only have 10 days until we are all debt free...

I am so proud of you all and want to thank you for making this thread such a success, we will bust this debt together!!!!!!!!!!

Ok as I have the overdraft on 1 of the bank accounts down to -£447 do I add some of it to my det busted? or wait until ive actually taken the overdraft down to under £1000 thus being unable to spend the money again? I dont know what to do but that £25 to £1000 debt busted is reeeeeeeeeeeeally bugging me :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

no change in figures just now but i thought it would be good to share some ways of making/saving money.

there's a free website called mylostaccount.org.uk that helps you find if you've got any lost accounts ( you never know nothing to lose )

Also i got a chest off of freecycle, sanded it and varnished and made £20. if you've got the time gumtree, ebay and freecycle for stuff needing a bit of work is good.

Anyone else think of anything ?

Im also reading how i survived on a pound a day for a year. Its rally good and made me think about money. dont buy it though its quite alot on ebay so get a the library.
