I need to join right now!
I've been lurking for ages and done bits and pieces, but think this challenge will help me focus on finally being debt-free!
Ok, so 2 loans and a couple of family debts brings my total to ....£17 953.
I've gone through my budget and cut it to the bone, really struggle to have enough to pay the bills, so don't know where I'll find extra to clear debts.
But I'm determined to dig myself out of this hole, so here goes!Lost 38.5 lb with SW so far, 56LB to go!:A

I've just been to go and give blood and they wouldn't let me
really disappointed. All because my thyroid had early stages of cancer 2 years ago, but I've been given the all clear now. Will send the OH to go and give blood instead, at least one of us can save a life this christmas.
Another one who cant give bloodI have M.E and as there is no information on what M.E actually is and no-one knows if its viral, contagious, hereditary etc I wouldnt dare offer my blood to anyone even if it WAS allowed  I would hate someone else to go through needing a transfusion to be saddled with this non life

Welcome mymamma and gh4662 mf0u will give you your numbers when she appears
This weeks mini-challenge is good for the your personal balance and your bank balance. You have to make your own homemade lunch to take to work/school/college/etc. I've failed twice oops, but I needed to have that hog roast sandwich today to line my stomach for tonight honest!

Hi all
Thanks for the warm welcome
Can I ask a question about how you're all calculating your balances on credit cards? For example, I've paid £246 off a £7176 balance today, but I know that when I get my next statement there will be about £80 of interest added back on. So, do you deduct the payment from your balance when you've paid it and then alter the balance again once the interest has been added on?
I hope that makes sense?!
I've been fairly good with my lunches so far this week, without knowing about the mini-challenge until today. On Monday and Tuesday I brought in leftovers from the night before, and today I've had pretty uninspiring (but very cheap) cheese and crackers. I need to really plan my meals ahead for next week and make extra for lunches where I can
Once christmas is over I'm going to do a major house de-clutter and see what I can possibly sell to bring in some extra cash to help me on this challenge!**Pay off all your debt by Xmas 2012**£282/£20300 paid so far!!
