Bloody hell, says it all really that I joined in Oct 2008 and this is the first (well technically this one is the 2nd) time I've ever posted! Less time lurking and more time getting debt free are called for!
Deleting everything to make sure MoneySupermarket don't get any of my personal details to sell to following Martin's sell out move :money:

    Afternoon all!

I've just ordered £20 Mr T vouchers from valued opinions, so £20 has moved from my grocery budget to debt, so my new total is £3437. Baby steps, but it all makes a difference, and helps keep me on track til pay day when I can make a bigger dent!

My unsecured debt is £3,600 and I want to pay it off by summer 2012 before my son goes off to uni.

    Hi all,

Can you add me to the list please? I've just worked out that I have £15,162.50 outstanding!! That's not including the student loan which is currently around £17,000. All of the debt has been accumulated whilst at uni / in low income jobs after leaving uni. I'm nearly 28 and have never experienced anything but being in debt and trying to make the repayments but that's all about to change! Determined to make a massive dint in my debt though!

Welcome aboard, I'm no good at paying back either but hoping the support will be the kick up the backside I need.

Yeah, I'm checking them twice daily now, and one poll too. Going to have to start finding more ways to make small amounts of money through the month - the little boost really helps.

Welcome aboard mfou will be along tomorrow to give you your number.

Little steps and we'll all get there.

My DFW thing I did today was to eat the two remaining not-so-crispy rolls from yesterdays 4 with my tomato + butterbean Heinz soup. The rolls were a bit stale but I thought "oh well". I also didn't leave the office for lunch, so no spendy whoop whoop. Have also done 2 my survey surveys and am currently on the 3rd :)

Jakes-mum you are definitely galloping ahead of the rest of us =) well done

Loooool, I only have a debenhams £50 and a MBNA £60 left and then i'll come to a grinding halt then you'll all overtake me lol.

These were all niggly bits we had to chuck on cards last month from DH's front brakes going on his motorbike and DD's big present for Christmas (a Vtech Innotab ipad thingy ) that only debenhams had for less than £75, I had the money but thought I might as well get 30 days interest for it :rotfl:. SO just clearing them up then its back to the daily slog to try and bring it down :o

Jimmytwoshoes - I am feeling your pain, my DH has just been made redundant for the 3rd time in 2 years, its really soul destroying :( Sending huge hugs and many job wishes to your OH :)
