it was not good trying hard, and certainly didnt match the hike in the cost of living. The NMW needed to go up, as ive been off sick for a few years i was a bit surprised when you said that was the current rate. It was a good  though, i was a bit worried after i posted it you would think i meant  you earn a fortune, which it wasnt honest :rotfl:

also if you go back to the job can you try to negotiate a higher rate as it does include saturdays, dont ask dont get as they say :D

Hi Jakes-Mum, please could you pm me with the swagbucks details too? Thanks!

Me too please Jakes-Mum, well tomorrow is the big day - I will finally be able to officially make my first payment off the challenge. I feel like I've waited for months not days :rotfl:

I had a fantastic night out last Saturday (for those of you who remember - this thread moves so fast) in my borrowed dress, my new shoes didn't arrive so I had to use my killer heels and they lived up to their name! Because I can't drink Alcohol I only ended up spending £9.50 on the night and £7.50 of this was a professional photo I had done with my closest friend

Everyone seems to be doing so well, I only wish I could think of some stuff to put on fleabay - i really can't imagine what I could possibly sell :o

Haha just looked and only have eight pounds in purse to spend on food because I too can only pay money into the bank in £50's or £100's lol will definitely be an essentials only shop!

It's been a stressful week - both work and family wise but I've stuck to my budget. I've got to go shopping in a minute but I'll try and stick to essentials and I've got some last minute Christmas shopping at the weekend which I think could be a real danger so I must leave my cc's at home otherwise it could be a very dangerous day out
  • Hi, add £6000 for me please.

    Thank you

Hi all, I've just caught up from last night (work kept me busy all day and tried to sneak on a couple of times but only managed to read a couple of posts before getting pulled into yet another meeting...).

Anyway, I'll go through and update the totals and add our lovely new members :wave::wave: HELLO!!!!

Congrats on all the payments and swapping of brilliant money saving ideas.

I have to admit that I just couldn't stomach another tin of spaghetti shapes and toast that I'd taken for my lunch today so bought a sandwich for £1.95 but I didn't buy anything else so not a total loss. Although it dd cost me a NSD

One question, how do you quote to more than one person in a post??? It's baffling me and I think you're all quite brilliant for figuring it out!!! xxx
