Good morning all
Paid some pennies towards credit card today from Paypal funds that came through. Feel like I'm spending too much just now though with Christmas present buying and nights out! Don't want to lose control, last year we went mental with Christmas and bought my partners 2 kids FAR too much which def contributes to the debt we are in! We have totally scaled it back this year but its so easy to spend too much! How do you guys all manage Christmas without going crazy?!
My new total is.....
£965.58/£9793.81 (9.86)

Morning all! Feeling very happy today - I saw an excellent Christmas present for my bro in the shops at the weekend, but didn't get it cos it was £5 over budget :A (last year that wouldn't have mattered). Thought I'd have a look round on the internet and it was £5 cheaper on amazon! That means its right on budget, especially cos it is free delivery:j!
Tonight I will be calling Barclaycard to find out if it would be cheaper doing a balance transfer of my overdraft cos they're charging almost £15 per month in interest:eek:, and I think my barclaycard may be 0% til Feb 2012, so it all depends on the balance transfer fee. And it would mean I could close that account so I'd only have two bank accounts.
Also will be digging out oddments of previous years packs of Christmas cards and seeing if there's enough for all my colleagues, friends and extended family. May splash out on new ones for immediate family tho, as I have a £10 budget for cards this year.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner
