I'm speechless...I cannot believe someone would actually come up with this.
Cats & dogs,no matter if you like them or not,are not livestock...

I haven't looked into all the ins and outs, but it doesn't look like a wind-up to me0 -
I don't recommend clicking on the link if you are at all easily upset.0

I haven't eaten meat or fish for 24 years, so I would answer that as there is no real difference. However, I can see why this would abhor people more so than eating a cow or a pig.0 -
I've looked up the domain on whois and it is registered to a company based in Florida. It has been set up since 2006, which ties into the copyright notes on the page. Therefore, I would say that this is a genuine site. Unfortunately.0

None. My Mum keeps chickens, basically as pets, but she sometimes cooks chicken for dinner for us when we're there (she's a veggie herself).
Besides which cats and dogs can be considered "livestock", it doesn't just mean animals used for food, it can refer to animals used for commercial purposes, eg a sheepdog would be "livestock"0 -

So can I, but surely that's only because of the 'personality' we've assigned to the animals we've chosen as pet's. Ultimately, if someone is happy to eat meat, I think it's difficult for them to honestly argue against this using any kind of morality.0 -
Of course it's a wind up - look at the recipe page..0

Well, that's a debate I'll leave to others to answer then as I clearly am not happy to eat meat, fish or any deviates therefrom and so don't find it difficult to argue against the morality of this0 -

I don't think just because there is a swear word on the recipe page, it makes this a wind up. I looked at some other pages (wished I hadn't) and it would appear this is run by a chinese couple. It is of course widely known that people from these cultures eat cats and dogs.
Why would someone go to the trouble and cost of setting up and maintaining a wind up internet site for 5 years?0
