i dont think you can be precious about this unless your a vegan. cats and dogs are pets to us, but not to other cultures. for some cows are sacred, they clearly arent in our culture.

However the eating of what we think of now as exclusively 'pets' is a lot more recent and widespread than most realise. Where do you think hotdogs came from?
