Saving the Date - what to include?

Hello All,
What wording did you put on your save the date card/magnets?
I'm trying to design my save the date magnets but can't decide on the information to put. Do I need to distinguish between those invited all day and those just for the evening?
Thanks in advance,
Alipops x

I think usually save the dates are just for the day guests, but each to there own. If you do them for both, definitely make sure the evening guests say evening. Imagine saving the whole day, rearranging a holiday etc, only to find out its just for the evening. N if you think it means the whole day, get excited etc, talk about it, maybe buy an outfit... Then get told its an evening. I would be so embarrassed if it was me!

I think you do. You don't want all the people you invite for the evening to not have saved the date! Why don't you try looking up some wedding stationary companies and see if they have any tips on their websites. You could even call them I suppose!0

Unless its happening within the next 9 months, I wouldn't advise sending out save the date anything.Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.

We are only sending them to the day guests and we are only including the date, all the other details will go on the invitations.
I have only ever received them as a day guest before.

I have to agree here. What's wrong with just sending the invitation at the appropriate time?Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

Some people book holidays in advance so by sending save the dates you are, in effect, prebooking the date since invites are usually sent a few months before the wedding0 -

My sister works for the Met Police and only has to book her leave 9 months in advance. Most people won't have diaries that cover 2012 yet, never mind 2013!
People could have 2 babies, emigrate or anything in such a long period of time. I think it's ridiculous, personally.Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
