I'm going back in a couple of weeks when I've had a think and read all the info he gave me plus my BP was still very high - 195 over 90 so that will need looking into.

I've nothing OS to report whatsoever sorry:D

    Just playing catch-up.

Taplady: It's not all bad news. The earlier it starts, the earlier it stops. To me the worst thing was the tiredness but by about 50 it was all over and it is amazing how quickly you forget what it's like to be tied to the calendar. For anyone who is interested, my friend suffered the most horrific hot flushes but got considerable relief from a sort of tea loaf we found a recipe for. I no longer have the recipe but perhaps someone else remembers it. I know linseeds featured in it.

JackieG: So sorry to hear your news, you must be devastated.

Have I sorted paperwork? No. Have I made a fruitcake? Guess. There's always tomorrow!

TAPLADY, I was put on HRT for 3 mths, it didn't agree with me. I walked into a health food herbal type shoppy and imediately had a hot flush, face drenched, couldn't string a sentance together, forgot why I went in there and felt grotty. SA said you need this, she went out back and got some drops, put them in water and told me to drink it. I'd have drunk Cyanide at that point. It was a herbal Agnus Castus and Black Cohash worked a treat.
Problem was, as soon as I felt human again I stopped taking it. Mistake.
Hope your gonna be okay dokay.
sorry for sp. bit tired, where are those drops ?????

I read this thread occasionally, but haven't posted on it before.
This is may favourite rabbit recipe: Joint, then grill with salt, pepper & olive oil. While 1st side is grilling, make a mix of creme fraiche, mustard & chopped tarragon (or other herbs), spread on 2nd side before grilling. Cheap (ish) posh food.
Also my thughts are with those dealing with dementia - I too have been there.

    :wave:HI JACKYANN,
Welcome to a very friendly place.
The recipe looks good but I'm one of those :(_pale_who had a pet rabbit and just couldn't.

Did a long post earlier but internet was down and it disappeared.

Hugs to all who are in need or want of one for whatever reason, especially those who are not well or dealing with unwell relatives....especially JackieG.

Going to try an early night to-night....fed up knitting, will just eat if I stay on here!

    Welcome Jackyann.

Sleep well all and stay safe.
