Right so a finance update...
HSBC: £59 remaining
c/c: £34 remaining
pots: £46 remaining
emerg: £160.37
purse: negligible
I ended up going to a house party for my friends birthday last night, I don't normally like to go to parties with that group of friends without my OH as I always feel a bit uncomfortable. Well I wasn't proved wrong to say the least. I got there about midnight as I decided to turn up when the party was going, and felt a bit like the person that turns up not knowing anyone. I spotted a friend I'd not seen in awhile and joined in with the conversation, he was talking with two female friends. The topic changed to him asking about my new job and discussing his career prospects and the two girls started huffing and looking bored eugh!
Then later the guy that made me feel uncomfortable when he came round with his OH the other week managed to corner me and make me feel equally uncomfortable. Later on he then tried to stir between me and a guy with a bit of under the bridge history, to which both me and the guy took him down a peg or two in front of all our friends
There was also a guy there that took my OH on as an intern for 3 months, then proceeded to treat him like crud the entire time he worked there. This guy spoke over the top of me when I was talking to people, interrupted me, made it quite clear he was acting like I wasn't there (at one point he gave everyone in the room his business card but me), and also asked a guy I was speaking to who he was talking to as there was noone there??? This guy is 36 but acting 12.
Somehow the topic of conversation kept coming back to how soandso wanted to lose a stone, used to be x amount and is now x amount. I found this incredibly dull as I was stonecold sober and couldn't escape the conversation as it kept being diverted back. The people saying it were size 14's and I had nothing to say as I'm a very happy size 8, watch what I eat and power walk everyday for exercise to and from the station. I felt incredibly awkward whenever that conversation came up, it's not my fault I'm slim!!! (I know not everyone is slim, but weightloss is a really boring party topic).
Anyway, rant over and debt busting focused upon. Fr33mans still don't seem to have my account right, I will call them if my statement comes through incorrect and I'm confident it'll be gone before then as I have £17ish left to payThis is how my debts currently stand:
Fr33mans: £17.51
HSBC: £600
Vanquis: £500
Lloyds: £387.17
Wescott: £1670
Total: £3174.68
I've almost paid off £2k since Octoberin total I've paid more than this for my debts, but I'm only counting this as I can't recall the rest. I start my new job tomorrow and am really excited. I need to drive to Brum in the morning so it'll be an early start but will definitely be worth it for job satisfaction. I'm still umming and erring about what to spend my £55 rainforest vouchers from work on, I would quite like some nice kitchen stuff by LC particularly a very nice oil & vinegar pourer set and a butter dish, but not sure. I'm going to keep an eye on rainforest for when the price drops again, as it has a tendancy to do so looking on camel

Ahh Percy Pigs... The staple to everyones diet when working in our office! Lol always think it's funny and slightly ironic that vegetarians (I used to be one in my student days) want to eat little pigs faces! Hahahaha Have a great weekend Kerri! Xxx
Personally Reversy Percy's are my favourites , but I wouldn't say no to any of them really !!
Just caught up over your last few days, let me know when you finally decide to make your own butter !:D
Sounds like last nights party wasn't the best, feel free to rant. I don't have problem with my weight, actually probably need to put a bit on in all honesty, but thats just as difficult for me as losing it is for somebody else !
2K paid off since October, thats brilliant, keep going.

You can't have the vacuuous listening to sensible conversation. I believe the RSPCA prosecute for it.Then later the guy that made me feel uncomfortable when he came round with his OH the other week managed to corner me and make me feel equally uncomfortable. You really do know a lot of charmers...This guy spoke over the top of me when I was talking to people, interrupted me, made it quite clear he was acting like I wasn't there (at one point he gave everyone in the room his business card but me),
That's because he thinks you only buy Andrex quilted...and also asked a guy I was speaking to who he was talking to as there was noone there??? This guy is 36 but acting 12.
He fancies you... :rotfl:PinotGrigio41 wrote: »Personally Reversy Percy's are my favourites , but I wouldn't say no to any of them really !!

hi kerri, sorry to hear that you have had such a bad party experience. Maybe they are jealous of you because you are moving on and the can't or won't?
Nice one on the debt paid off. That is great going

Oh haircare update, I've decided to use up the rest of my shampoo/conditioner before I go no poo. However, using bicarb has stopped my hair being so heavy, I think it's defo removed the residual siliconesBicarb is actually awesome though, my runners were phew bad yesterday so I sprinkled with bicarb and they're fresh as a daisy now

Well first day in the new job went well yesterday, nice early morning drive. I should have taken some chocolate and a drink with me as I was shaking my head to stop my eyes glazing over on the drive, oops. I did stop when this started though, just gotta get used to being on the road again.
OH is coming to stay with me for 2 weeks before he goes to Canada, he's on the 7hr bus journey now. I've been very MSE by going to the SM before he gets here, I've got everything in that he could possibly need, so no extra £30 here, £30 there for unnecessary spends.
I've got an admin day today, which is interesting as I have no password for my laptop as of yet. Hoping to get this tomorrow so I can build the laptop, then it's likely another admin day thursday/friday after a trip to the City office tomorrow.
In terms of DFW things to do today, well post the 2 items that have been paid for from fleabay. Edit some photos and maybe weigh the items so I can list them. I'm going to sort the items into weight piles this'll make it easier to work out the postage, instead of writing it down for each oneDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
