Aww, thanks :o it's been no problem! :D but yes, lots quieter than it used to be - think everyone is busy being frugal!

Thank you everyone for this thread! you made a big difference to mine and my family's life this year.. even tho i did go quiet. I will explain :-)..

I've never had any left over money and we had terrible electrics in our house that were a death wish!! from allyour tips posts and help i was able to get my mind in the right place and i saved, scrimped, wrote things down, bought 10p bargains, used coupons, ebayed, used fb seller pages and i managed to save £7000.00 i was out of this able to get my whole house re-wired :-) paid for us to stay in cheap £29.00 hotel deals while it was being done ( had a new born baby and 6 year old) and no one local to have us. We havent taken out any credit and we are coping on one wage while im on maternity. I never imagined this was possible!! so a massive thank you :-) we are now safe i our house and my next 12 months will be spent, doing the place up on a budget, and paying the debts off xxx

Cherryjack - what an achievement! Be very proud of yourself. I'm sure you will rise to the challenge of the diet even though you feel daunted by it at the moment. We'll all be looking forward to your posts & you know you will have plenty of support & encouragement here

  • Well done Cherryjack, it's brilliant to be able to look back and say, we DID it!
