Hi all.
Nothing too exciting to report here. Not spending any money unless necessary, as per the plan. Have earnt a grand total of £45 from ebay though, so thats all staying in my paypal account until Christmas
Lola lemon- can you link me to your blog please, i love reading frugal type blogs
Dreading the thought of having to use the tumble dryer. I have been hanging it all out on the line until now, but the rain has hit Cornwall (albeit not very much yet!) so i guess i'll have to use the tumble dryer again, which means more electricity. Hey ho, i'll manage, always do0 -
On the way back from car boot I called into a Mr A supermarket and timed it well for whoopsie time. Came back with corn on the cob, cauli, cabbage, new potatoes, cooked meats, salmon, haddock, cod and two of the large bunches of 'special flowers' (these are what I call the £10 bunch ones as I think they are too expensive for anything except special occasions)
All for less than £10!!
Didn't I do well :T:T0 -

Good Luck for Tuesday Lola. Fingers crossed for you
Thrifty great bargains from Mr A. Love flowers in the house too. Called in there this evening with DD and got one of their little bunches of roses, the £2 ones. As well as a few other bits which added up, as it does.
Been going to bed a lot earlier these days but last night I ended up staying up watching a film with Paul Hogan in called Charlie and Boots. Didn't go off till two this morning so tonight is an early night! Was quite a good film though
Happy frugal Tuesday tomorrow everyone

If anyone needs school uniform, or needs to stock up for next year, i went into my local tesco yesterday and they had 3 racks of reduced school uniform.
I got 2 pairs of size 14yrs trousers for my son for next year, and they were £3 each instead of £9 each0 -
Thanks everyone
Interview went well (i think so anyways).
got a call back today asking a few other questions... things that i don't think they are legally allowed to ask (concerning my son), but she did say that i was the only person that they are getting references from and that she will call me back tomorrow with the final answer from the boss.
but all in all, its looking good
hope everyone is well... sorry, i haven't really read much...Living Simply, not simply living.Weight Loss - 5b/55lb

All sounds promising Lola. I'm pretty sure you're right too, don't think they are allowed to ask things like that.
Fingers crossed again here for you
