Went to get some Whiskas and ....... guess what ...... a row of empty shelves with "out of stock" against all the varieties.
Not impressed & have now completed a "feedback" form and I won't be going back unless I happen to be in that particular town anyway.
I was lucky in that I went to T's on Wednesday when the offer started - otherwise I probably wouldn't have been able to get any. Think the offer is on until Monday - have you tried doing an online order and saying you will accept substitutes? There are some codes around as well for 'new' customers0 -

Hi Rising. I remember asking about something that was on offer at Mr Ts once and they were out of stock but was told to go to customer services and they'd still honour the offer by giving a 'voucher type thing' to use when it was back in stock. I have to say I didn't bother though.
This was a while ago but I would assume they still did it. Worth asking anyway.

:rotfl:I've given up trying to convert mine .... I wasted more money chucking out 1/2 used tins/pouches of stuff they wouldn't eat than the savings I would make on getting the stuff they will.
However, normally if I stock up on something and have loads of it, they decide they don't like it anymore!:pThrifty_Sister wrote: »I was lucky in that I went to T's on Wednesday when the offer started - otherwise I probably wouldn't have been able to get any. I think it was called a Raincheck Voucher, does anybody know if Mr T's still offer them?
ETA: Actually thinking about, I don't think they do offer them, that's the whole point you have to ask for them, in which case, the correct question is, do they still give them?0 -
Nat ; the funeral you went to sounds very fitting for the person
Rising : I get so anoyed with the supermarkets when they don't do the ordering right You would think someone would have the sense to think that more stock is going to be needed as its on offer - maybe not then
Last night I went to see "the exotic marigold hotel " at the cinema which is a brit film and really funny worth a watch if you can
today we have had rain & sleet so have stayed in doing some stuff at homeEmma :hello:0 -

Purple: pampering sounds good!
Nice frugal day for me, finished a super spring clean with all my free flash products. Mum invited me up for Sunday lunch so no spend there. House is gleaming and everything is ready for work tomorrow, have an 18 hour working day tomorrow so enjoying the rest of my evening by relaxing. Pay day getting closer only 5 days away
Enjoy rest of evening everyone! Here's to another frugal week ahead!0
