Morning all
Glad weather nice can crack on with house work etc! This is my first day off in 13 days! Money low and other half away so can crack on no probs.
Popped in local Asda last night, no whoopsies sadly0 -
There is some good news.
i forgot that at the moment i am paying my rent and council tax. When the transfer happens I will apparantly be eligeable for Council tax and Housing benefit. So Yipee, it means that I will have just under £30 a week less then I am currently on. Still a bit difficult but certainly not so frantic.
Boy was I worried.
Still need to tone down the spending as I am still verging on going out of control on the income as it is now.
Thank goodness for MSE and all the support. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

hi TS
i get mine on amazon, 24 tins for £12.80, works out much cheaper than pouches as there is only 100g in the pouches but 400g in tin.

ok quick question - what do we think about out of date jelly? they are dating from 2010 nov and dec.i have 5 packets seems a waste to ditch.but is 2010 too far?Frugal living challenge - need to revisit its been.a while !! Need to reduce our debts!!0

well the budget states an over spend of £300 which is alot better than last years.plus i done it on last months figures and we had a couple of days away which cost.think the issue is we took out £480 in cash and have no record of what that was spent on so.... i think its back to writing everything down again!! if we can rein in a bit theres a few things that are finishing soon, we could pay them off early so we could be much better off.
right going to set myself a target to achieve by the summer! right think ill log in to my credit file and see how much we owe on a few things.
just been through kitchen cupboards too - there are a few things we need gonna buy them, then see how long we can last on whats in the house - not going to count lunches in that though as that is a complicated area at the minute(i am on a special diet)Frugal living challenge - need to revisit its been.a while !! Most things I'd say yes to but not too sure about jelly as it's got Gelatin (sp?) in it which is an animal product.
If it was 2011 I probably would but 2010.... personally, I wouldn't (but I am known to be a bit more conservative than many others:o)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I would make it up and see if it sets. I have stuff from Approved Foods often thats out of date when i get it. And still eat it ages, and ages afterwards. I just do the look, sniff and taste tests. If it doesnt match all 3 then I bin it.!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
