Erme that website about Kenwoods was useful, thanks you. I think that the mixer they showed would have sounded better if it had food in the bowl. I was amused that you were trying to mash potatoes in it I have never done that, to much washing up afterwards and I'm assuming it was just for you, so would have thought it would not make a good job of it.

Have a good frugal day all. X

Apparently according to an old instruction book I got off the restore site it can even do butter :T....(like from cream)...I had no idea how to make it when it was whoopsied the other week  Now I know...let it go (like stand) for 3-4 days then whiz taking off the buttermilk ....simple...

I made biscuits in it the other night but the creaming (maybe it was the small quantities?) would have been better done in the magimix (my magimix is mega tiny LOL)...

Want everything for it now LOL...Missed out on the £3 cover as like I was asleep...

yea we have the sun again, well for a while anyway, and i have no washing to put out, hate that lol.
no plans for much today, have made dinner, very easy and frugal today. took a piece of my homemade beef and onion pie out of the freezer, have made mash n swede, and other veg (did extra for tomorrow to put with fish). also took out the beef juices i had left from my slowcooker the other week, and will use the water from veg etc to make some fresh gravy to go with pie mmmm. will freeze remainder of gravy then.

hope you all have a good day

    Good Morning Everyone!

I don't post very often but I do read the posts everyday! Just wanted to thank you all for your inspirational posts!:T
I've just been totalling up my spends etc for the month and I've actually spent less in February than I did in January, so I am well chuffed:j
And for the first time in years we didn't go overdrawn this month on the current account:j Yes we've still got the credit card to pay off and the bank loan (which both hopefully will be paid off by the end of September 2012) but I actually for the first time in ages feel like we are getting somewhere, yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:j I am definately one happy bunny today!!!:rotfl:

  • So sorry about Marmalade Ruby.

About to have my lunch - HM bean and veg soup (smells gorgeous) with the heel of a HM loaf, followed by chocolate muffin fresh from the oven - made with mix from App Food.

    Saving many a penny!
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!
  • well guys i made decision to cancel my tv license as i dont watch tv anymore. have just dismantled any connections in case someone calls around to see if they can catch me out lol. not a chance of that.
anywoo i have a refund of £84 odd going into my bank in 10 days, but am unable to stop tomorrows payment going out. there is a number to ring and something to quote to stop the payment but i went through all the press this for that and that for this etc. then put all my details in (all automated) then asked me for the last number of my phone security aaarrggghh. i dont know. have only ever been into the bank to cancel a dd before.
but anyway i will know be saving over £145 a year, plus was also informed that my money is going up £4.90 a week, and gas and electric is going from £60 a month to £38 woohoo.
dont know whats happening but all of sudden there seems to be money everywhere. plus i made £39.50 on surveys this month that will go into bank and amazon end of march, made £7 on ebay, £3 pinecone, £1.97 amazon, £17.54 zapper, £5 indefield and £20 shop and scan.

not a bad month, lets hope i can pay of more of the cc this month, think i may use all of the tv license refund to pay of cc, makes sense i think

    Luv P
