  • Thanks Cherryjack, will just have to be even more careful I reckon. That was a great list that someone put on here the other day, thank you for that. I think I'm going to print it out and stick it on the fridge!

Cherry Jack you need to click on the orange and pink balloons first and then the posts you wish to quote.

    Give it another go xxx
Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
    And we were young.

When my daughter came home from visiting a friend last night there was Marmalade sitting on the door step with her face covered in mud so she must have snuck out early in the morning without anyone knowing.

Of course she has perked right up again so she has yet another reprieve so I will make no mention of it again until the time comes!

    It is very stressful!

  • Didn't quite make the morning shift today as had a hospital appointment (things look a bit brighter there) but wanted to pop in and say hello:hello:

To everyone in the list makers club - I too am an avid list maker lol. Drive everybody mad here with this habit but I cannot function any other way - or keep myself in some sort of order!

I am also a great believer in sods law. Whatever is going to happen will!

Really enjoying reading all your tales of yester year etc - makes such lovely reading.

And lastly to all the peeps having a bad time atm - hugs to you all.

    Hi beanrua,

Was so inspired with the list :) must print this tommorow

dizzie .. massive congrats hun :) xx

EFC..i just wanted to send my love xxx

Sorry ive not been on.. ive had this horrible virus, the first night i was freezing cold, then following day i had a headache and rash.. in the evening my back went.. and now today back has eased and i have this horrible cough and hot sweats. I have no idea what ive just suffered.. but ive never had something thats made my back go before.. i had me c-section on the 16th of jan.. not sure if its worth me gettin to the docs tommorow? or if its just a nasty ive caught from son's primary school..
I'm really hanging onto the hope of spring, ive been so upset. My mum and family who live 3 hours away have still not seen baby and she's almost 6 weeks.. have been so gutted and down about it. The numerous friends who have said they would be over and couldnt wait to see her.. never turned up. So have been so low with it all. I just want a little bit of sunshine to pick me up.

I've had 2 NSD's and OH gets paid on friday so i really want to get back on track with the budget this month.. the book will be out:D
    hope everyone is well
    xxx

hehe how rubbish was i with the multi quote!!!

Hi cherryjack - just wanted to say congrats on the baby girl and hope you're enjoying being a new mum to her. Its a shame your mum hasn't been able to get to see her - is there a valid reason she hasn't been yet. If I was in the same position you would have been sick of the sight of me by now - I love babies:A drool drool lol Take care hun x

Just over two years ago I was in a car accident. Long story short I have had a letter today offering £4200. I am accepting against solicitors wishes as I can not deal with any fighting, arguing etc as they have already called me a liar and said they will take me to court. This really annoyed me as I never exaggerated any injuries.

This means I can pay off our Credit card bill and give each of the kids £50. DD wants some towards a stair carpet, DS wants some new footie bits DSSs need some other bits and bobs etc.

We will have left £1000 which is :j:j:j:j but I don't know what to do with it. Do I pay it off the mortgage, have an emergency fund (I do have some shares I can cash in for an emergency fund though)

If you were debt free what would you do with a thousand pound ??

DH has said no more cats :o

I don't know what sort of mortgage you have some have penalties for paying more in - strange to me although I think they are not very many but it would be worth a check just in case also how long would that shave off your mortgage I personally agree with cherry Jack if it was me I would Isa the money for emergencies or think about putting it towards somthing you need or just fancy :D
