    Wow what exciting news Dizzy!

    Congratulations!

Apart from having a fasting blood test this morning I spent the day in bed - I am shattered again!

Had a lovely evenings television viewing Bees Butterflies and Blooms followed by Winter Watch.

Marmalade is in hiding again - we haven't seen her all day although know she is in the house - we have decided to take her to the vets tomorrow but that will be impossible if we can't find her!

    Naughty to the very end!

I had a major mishap tonight I burnt the botton of my preserving pan, horrors....BUT then it turned out to be a good thing as I was unable to cook and sat down to watch TV, I have to admit I really felt better for it. I tried a few remedies to clean the pan it but it was very thick then my friend suggested soaking it in a strong solution of biological soap powder, I boiled a cup full in a small amount of water and changed it every so often and its nearly clean. I really thought I might have to go and buy a new one but as they are quite expensive I was reluctant to do that. I think by the morning all will be OK again after a final scrub and I shall only have lost 1/2 a days cooking. Oh and the contents of the pan which was 3lbs of cut up Seville oranges well I tipped that into a dish, I did not stir so no problems there thank goodness and I will finish cooking it tomorrow afternoon when I get back from meeting a friend for coffee.

RubyT I wondered what you were talking about when you mentioned Marmalade, I must have missed it is your cats name somehow and kept thinking how did she do that with her Marmalade but now I understand.

Oh, I love lists so much. Trouble is they don't always go shopping with me but wait on the kitchen table until I get back from shopping.

Goodnight every one and get well those to whom it is applicable. X
    Keep to £400 a month on C/C.

dizzie .. massive congrats hun :) xx

EFC..i just wanted to send my love xxx

Sorry ive not been on.. ive had this horrible virus, the first night i was freezing cold, then following day i had a headache and rash.. in the evening my back went.. and now today back has eased and i have this horrible cough and hot sweats. I have no idea what ive just suffered.. but ive never had something thats made my back go before.. i had me c-section on the 16th of jan.. not sure if its worth me gettin to the docs tommorow? or if its just a nasty ive caught from son's primary school..
I'm really hanging onto the hope of spring, ive been so upset. My mum and family who live 3 hours away have still not seen baby and she's almost 6 weeks.. have been so gutted and down about it. The numerous friends who have said they would be over and couldnt wait to see her.. never turned up. So have been so low with it all. I just want a little bit of sunshine to pick me up.

I've had 2 NSD's and OH gets paid on friday so i really want to get back on track with the budget this month.. the book will be out:D
    hope everyone is well
    xxx

    Hi Cherryjack,

Well done for trying the multi-quotes, you'll get there, just so long as you have the first [ and the last ] one at the begining and again at the end of each quote it should work okay. You can do up to 3 multi-quotes at any one time.

I'm sorry to read that your visitors have let you down. They may just be keeping out of the way as they think you'll be busy and tired.

I think a lot of people are feeling down and can't wait for Springtime, and you've more reason than most as you've just gone through a major change in your life.

Wrap up warm and take yourselves out for a walk, the fresh air will help you feel better and you'll probably see signs of Spring approaching already.

    Big hugs to you.

Solar panels installed today so we are now generating our own electricity and contributing to the grid :)

Make sure you get the forms sent off to the leccy company as they have to be with them in 7 days. Send recorded so they can't deny receiving them before the cut off date.

We sent ours recorded last year which we are glad as they had a back log then and said they had not found our paperwork. Took about 8 weeks to sort out.

Infact with cut off so near I would send special delivery signed for just so they don't lose it ;)
