We had snow but did not stick just very very cold here.
We been grocery shopping in morrisons to use vouchers and tesco so got £17.00 free food but wont need much for rest of month.
5 NSD this week as laid up at home.Weight loss challenge 66lb to go /59lb's lost
Grocery Budget January £150/£175
Feb £150/0 -
Was looking out of our window at the snow and saw this chappie walk by. I thought the red looked amazing against the stark colours of the snow so I grabbed my camera and took a photo. He'd walked a bit further up by then but you can still see him!
Hope the snow doesn't get any worse now though. We live on quite a steep lane as it goes further down. Buses refuse to come down it when it gets like this and if I'm driving I panic at the end of the lane in case I can't stop!!!
OH has gone to pick up DS from his Saturday job so hope he can get back up it!
On a plus note haven't spent any money.

Just had to google what that was ..... beyond my Excel competency level!:o
I've still to get the hang of 2007 for some things - not sure if it's me but 2003 seemed much easier ... although I guess I used it for so long I just knew it inside out!.
Will have a play around with that .... thanks!:DGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

It's easy enough once you play with it, but I'm not good enough at Excel to explain it well
Frugal day here at Fresian Towers. Having done my first meal plan in months I set myself a budget of £15 for our weekly shop. Only one unplanned thing went in the trolley (cat treats) and I spent £18. The overspend was because of the £4 of chocolate for Mr Fresian, but he paid for it so I was within budget
I was meant to meet a friend for lunch, but she's not well so we're going to aim for tomorrow, unless she's still ill. As a result, I've spent most of the day in my craft room watching rubbish telly (thanks to my cheap LoveFilm deal bought in the Amazon deals week) and making pretty cards. I'm now totally chilled out and about to have the slow-cooked chilli I made this morning for dinner. Hurrah

:j Sorted, thanks:D I decided to do the "clear rules" bit on that box only and it went black which made me thing it was def that - have now managed to put the formatting back on .... and it does go red when I overspend that budget so.... hopefully that's it sorted:D (and I've also done the same for the "spare" one which was doing the same thing and was one of the reasons I wasn't using it:o).
I might now also dig Clothes out of the "anything else" budget and given them their own budget too ....:D (oh the little things that make my day!).
Dizzy that pic is lovely ... I love to see snow but just hate it when I actually have to go out. Hope OH/DS have arrived home safely.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

We have had a couple of inches of snow here and its still snowing. I am snuggled up nicely with my cup of tea and a scented candle on the goFrugal luxury.

Hello everyone, not been on for a while and it's taken me ages to catch up - you are all doing so well, and are still such an inspiration, thank you! Had a birthday in my absence and went bowling with the family using a Groupon voucher (cost £12 I think when it should have been nearly £60! (would anyone pay that much???)) Then had lovely meal in P!zz* Expr*55 c/o Clubcard vouchers which paid for the food and used an email for a free bottle of wine they'd sent me as a birthday gift! Lucky me. Today I spent my birthday pennies on some lovely 1/2 price winter boots from Jones's. Feeling very blessed

My dress is so so so pretty :j :j and it fits perfectly, so the weight loss has been worth it
But, we've had loads of snow! I'm not the biggest fan of snow, so I hope it doesn't stay around for long. I hope everyone is staying safe and keeping warmBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
