Reality TV.....

I love celebrity BB, I'm a Celebrity, Dancing on Ice, TOWIE (my favourite - so bad it's good), and Apprentice and Young Apprentice. Also loved the Restaurant on BBC2 and wish they would make another series of that. Also loved Claire Richards show about her battles with her weight.
My fave reality show of the year though has to be the Steps reunion series. Hilarious to watch, and the bitterness they all felt ten years down the line was incredible and made compelling viewing.
Yep, pretty much an addict too.0 -

Above is my guilty pleasure - 19 kids and counting. We only have freeview so I wach it online but I love it, that and Real Housewives of New york - I like American trash tv better than British for some reason.0 -
The real housewives makes me laugh, they never get a show done where they don't argue, have a 'talk' get angry and annoyed at each other, fall out, 'talk about it' make up, slag each other off behind each others back, then deny it, then say a completely different thing to their faces, hilarious:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and they say they are friends?:rotfl:0

I find them rather boring. Why watch someone else, when I can be doing what I want.0

It's like any addiction. The more you watch, the more you will want to watch. All you need is a bit of willpower, self control and a distraction to stop watching them! I don't watch reality anymore because my dd used to be into it so I would watch with her but now she has better hobbies. I can't stand soaps and I would rather be intelligently entertained or even educated, so I watch films and documentaries, whilst refusing to have any kind of cable or satellite television.LBM: August 2006 £12,568.49 - DFD 22nd March 2012

I don't think any of them are friends :rotfl: - some of them meet in the same circles, at the same events etc, but some of them don't. They seemed to have made friends at points through the series with some of the other housewives, then have a fall out, and change allegiance from series to series.
I did manage to watch part 1 of the reunion show yesterday, they all made a good point at the start of the show - they only really see each other at events the show engineers, so thats why, if there are any issues they want to talk to the others about, they attempt to do it there and then, because generally they don't see each other outside of the show.0 -
I like The Apprentice and the Young Apprentice. Don't want to watch Katie P. or a show where people eat grubs and bugs." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

The only 'reality' TV I watch is Come Dine With Me, but that's mostly for the presenters comments, he's hilarious. I cannot watch the celeb CDWM though.
Oh, and Strictly, but that's for the frocks!
As for TOWIE, it's so sad, there are young girls here who actually aspire to be like those muppets. I hope the rest of the country don't believe that that's what every young person in Essex is like, it's so utterly shameful.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Won't watch anything else though, especially anything like the Essex/Jersey stuff, so awful, such shallow stupid people, does my head in.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0
