This is BAD news as far as I'm concerned. Not only would I personally not touch CPW with an ocean going punt-pole, but it's a reduction of competition & a step towards monopoly. How can that be good for 'Consumers'?

yes osps are also the major 3 connections place, I agree with Stiverton bad news for competition, as osps were billed as the UK's second largest mobile phone outfit and CPW were already number one.

as for cashback I never had problems with osps and the only problem I've read about today is one with cpw.

about 7-8 years ago CPW bought out Tandy and had to honour all Tandy's commitments, As Reestit Mutton said you buy a going company you buy its commitments
