Downloading to MP3 Problems

Yeah sure, so you have plugged in your player and want to move or copy some mp3s to your player.
First of all I would go to My Computer and open the go to a folder where you have stored your Music i.e My Music this can also be accessed by clicking on Start and then on My Music.
Ok so your in the Music Folder or the folder where you stored any downloaded or ripped music, just click on Edit, Select All, then on Edit,Copy to Folder now find your player usually shown as a removable drive and then click copy, and voila they should start to copy to the player.
You can aswell drag and drop but it means expanding folders and the above method is quicker aswell, dont forget you could just click on one music track then hold down the Ctrl key and click on tracks individually and this will make a selection then you can copy just a selection over instead of all of the tracks, also just remember that its no good copying a folder over you need the tracks with in a folder thats why so many folk delete the Sample Music folder.0 -
Many thanks, unfortunately its not recognising it in my computer.

Your mp3 player isn't recognised? Are you on windows XP? Which MP3 player is it? Have you installed drivers/software for it?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Yeah are you using XP?0 -
I think this was at the top of the thread but XP and Sonic Stage. No I Haven't downloaded drivers I assumed they were on the CD.
Thanks0 -
If you can't even see the mp3 player as another drive under my computer, then there is either a problem with the drivers or a problem with the player. Get the latest driver from sony's website (it is sony isn't it?) and also (hard) reset the player if it can be (should say how in manual)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

No, that hasn't worked either. Uptodate software but still not being recognised.
