You verbally handed in your notice, then verablly retracted it, then verbally said that you still wanted to leave - but at the end of November and not in September ?
So, you got what you wanted - you are leaving at the end of November to start a new job.
It sounds that you are disappointed that the company you worked for for 6 years did not try to persuade you to stay, but they have in no way tried to "do you over".0 -
i need some big advice
in september i handed my notice in , i gave the work 6 weeks notice in my letter but they couldnt enter it on there system until 4 weeks of my finish date, things have changed and i withdraw my notic(they never entered it on there system) the office told me to wright a new notice out when im ready to leave, i told my ops manager it should be the end of november when i go. today i get called into the office and say your last day is the 28th november, i told them i didnt put my notice in, but they said i gave a verbal notice to my manager, i was like !!!!!!, i need some advice can they do this?
also when i withdraw my notice a week later they advervised my job,
can they do this?
I am confused. You told them you were leaving at the end of November and lo and behold, they push your leaving date back to the end of November. So what's the problem? If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
You resigned before you had an unconditional offer.

no you have the wrong end of the stick,
right
i gave the company 6 weeks notice they can only enter my notice 4 before i leave, i withdraw my notice before the 4 weeks my manager said thats ok, then they asked when do you think youll leave i said should be the end of november, to leave the company you to do this with a written notice but because the office just ripped my written notice up they dont have any proof of me leaving really,

No, you misunderstand. You told them you were leaving at the end of November, and they put your leaving date as the end of November. Hence; that was your resignation. They won't have actually ripped up your notice letter, and even if they did - you have resigned verbally...
I can give you a positive reply if you want. I'll pop it in pink just to make it more cheery.
Hey, just ignore them - you are right. Just turn up to work next week, all will be fine. If it isn't, just tell them that a person on the internet said it was ok.
Is that better?If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
