your manager asked when you were leaving
you said 'end of november'
they've told you that your last working day is 28th November
so what is it you're complaining about?
isnt a written notice more proof of leaving0 -
You handed your notice in and then changed your mind, unless you worked for M&S I dont believe you have a certain timeframe to change your mind.

but you have jsut said the contract says you can give verbal notice and you say you withdrew the written one but then mentioned to the boss you would leave at the end of Nov so they have took this as a verbal one. You say you said this so there is no dispute so you can not arguee as you have done what your contract says, maybe you should not have said anything.thats what i mean, , they have employed somebody to take over my role but they dont have any written notice that im leaving . verbal notice what the hell
ive been there 6 years and ive bent over backwards for that company but they dont see all that0 -

But you gave the required notice, whether verbal or written, you gave notice. They accepted your resignation & hired a replacement. You changed your mind. They are not oblilged to do anything but say thanks for 6 years, sorry for leaving & here's a card signed by the office.
Sorry it's not what you wanted to hear but not sure what else you would like us to say?0 -
