Most companies pay for medicals, tests, enquiries(references, CBR) etc.
But can still change their minds for any slight thing that wories them .
Resigning before an unconditional offer is not a sensible action.
More impresive is your companies ability to be ready to replace and have someone lined up, many places faf around or try to go short for a while.0
