How about these art & craft sets from Argos? It's a set of six individually boxed craft activities. The reviews look very good.
The info on their website says:
With 6 different exciting activities for kids and a whole range of different things to create. Be creative with 6 fun activities including a canvas art set - make your own pom pom characters, a scratch art set - make your own foam pictures, create your own felt shapes and make your own paper puppets.
http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500002901&langId=-1&searchTerms=CHAD+VALLEY+RAINY
The list price is £9.49 for each set of 6, but they are on a two for £15 offer, making them £1.25 for each individual box. Also - Argos currently have 15% off when you spend £40 or more on toys, so if you were to buy 6 packs (36 indvidual gifts) or more then they work out at just £1.06 each.

I am doing cello cones with sweets for DS birthday so have been sweet shopping alot lately.
I was a little dissapointed with the Haribo tub from Tesco at £5 down from £10, as it is just a tub of the small bags, and they seem quite empty
. I wish I had just gone back to Asda for their large bags of haribo http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=haribo&domainName=Products&headerVersion=v1&_requestid=67486
It works out loads cheaper - £1.99 for 700g in that bag or £5 for the 750g tub. Fuming at myself for not reading it properly before buying .

Where do you get the cello cones from? I've bought a few from ebay in past but curious to know if they're cheper elsewhere? Thanks0 -
Was in poundstretcher yesterday got 20 cellophane bags for 99p have a santat on teh front and are shaped like a sack (iykwim) so that when you tie the top the bottom stays nice and round. 5p each then could fill with sweets/crafty bits etc whatever.
I bought them but have no idea what Im goingto use them for but they are cute!!0 -
