When the word 'distressed' is used in relation to not being able to buy a computer game, don't you just wish you could swap lifes :(

Maybe then you'd have enough of a life not to spend your time picking holes in other peoples choice of phrasing.

it's hardly picking holes in how ops phrased the post, it's infact quite clear ops being completely melodramatic and needs to get a grip on what actually matters in life.

I'm all up for people wanting to get what was advertised or venting when they don't, but when things don't go your way some perpspective is needed if you get distressed over something so immaterial.

People in this country seem to forget how lucky we actually are. Infact i'd love to put some of these british consumers in a much poorer part of the world and watch as they finally come out of the bubble they seem to live in. (although this is going a little of topic and more of a rant now.)

    Couple of things.

1/ I think it should have been made clear stocks had run out

2/ As for computer games, I think those who think they are for geeks and/or just children, should look again. Those day in the 80's and largely the 90's are over. The gaming industry is absolutely huge, infact bigger than the film industry nowadays.

Same as computers in general, when suddenly people realised with the internet, computers weren't just for geeks and the male population of the world.

I had to pay £39 in Asda yesterday, Sainsburys are now £45. Where can I claim for my PTS?

My first call of duty was the Sainsburys service desk to check state of play. I would have felt a right burk with a basket full of booze and no game.

But you would have had a basket full of booze. Win!

Getting the game too would have been Win Win! :rotfl:

I did that deal on hotukdeals, if you have an iPhone download simply tap app. Buy the game for £35 (via the app) and then 21 days later they refund you £10 back to your card as cash back. It's a first order promotion and the game comes from carphone warehouse. It was seamless and took 3 days for the game to arrive.
