ive managed to get a half price 12 moth deal from sky so gonna go with that and put virgin down to the min for the remaining 6 months which is annoying as i didnt enter into the new contract knowingly but really cant be bothered with the hassle of them taking me to court etc, whats the min i could put my package down to inc broadband etc?

If you do not have a contract or they cannot show proof of contract you wont be going any where near court, why would you pay them?

They can show proof my your 'consuming' the supplied service. Howevet these days, court is seldom used as a resolver. This is because it is costly, and risky for them should they lose. The usual option is to sell on the debt to a third party, and then as a bonus wreck your credit file (which you will have agreed to) this will then be a millstone on your file for the next 6 years. Much cheaper and tidier than involving an independent third party to mediate in the dispute (the courts).

But the "consumed" service has been paid for its future non required and not used services that are debated.

No one, especially third partys, can hound you for payment of funds not owed, if any company incorrectly effects your credit file there are also steps to amend this.

But if people would rather pay funds they do-not owe please submit further details below I have some invoices here ready to go out..
