I appreciate she is having a hard time, it was a general warning to other people, don't get sucked in to buying products ' sold as seen' unless you are fully prepared for them. You know how this forum works, eeryone putting their oar in, me included, didn't mean any harm
Doozergirl, you seem to be well up on things, does ' time is of the essence' rules help in Danemi's case? Do they still exist?
I hope it all gets sorted via a Section 75 on the credit card they paid with. If something doesn't arrive, you have a claim - that's where I hope she will pull it off. I don't think it's going to go as far as courts, let alone contract law. You can understand how someone would want a kitchen delivered and fitted before Christmas and how it would be totally soured if that didn't happenHopefully the CC company will be sympathetic. I think they might be if they are the same as Barclaycard were with us.
If it doesn't get fitted until after, then it will be a terrible shame, but I'm sure the kitchen will turn out beautiful if they don't manage to get their money back.
Just had a look - Crown Court and County Court are in the same building in Liverpool.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Cheers doozergirl.
I had my kitchen renewed 2 years ago, as well as staircase renewed, hall landing and stairs plastered and suspended ceiling put in kitchen/utility/downstairs bathroom, decided to go off on hols for 2 weeks and left them to it ! Came back to utter devastation with all the dust, they had to take 6 inches of plaster off all the walls in the kitchen in order to tile them properley ! Still finding dust. If it was me, I would try and get some money off them, delay until after Christmas and try and enjoy the Xmas break. It is so close to xmas, it won't be a relaxing one. It took me two weeks to get sorted and am still finding bits not put back in the kitchen ( couldnt find champagne bottle stopper we bought few years back, went out and bought another then found it in a box I forgot about.
re Liverpool Court. Would you believe I got through the scanners with a stanley Knife and a screwdriver in my pocket? Thought I had put them in the box with marble. Could have had a field day !
Sorry to mither, but does the term, Time is of the essence still exist and work when having delays like this? I could use it with some of my suppliers letting me down.0
