Yeah well it was erm...to get things moving. Iron tablets do not have good side effects  it's bl00dy awful stuff but I was desperate. As soon as I'd let go of my nose I got the hideous after taste so I had to have a mint on standby :rotfl:

Everyone feel free to remind me of this the next time I complain about being broody LOL

Oz tried to make a run for it off a train on Monday. Popped his collar. He fell between train and platform. I threw myself to catch him. Hence lots of bruises.

Well i had another bad night with my teething baby bless him, i was downstairs with him from 2am til 4.30am but it gave me chance to catch up on some coronation street on sky+ lol.

I managed to sort out a meal planner so have half done the online shopping list for that and have done 2 loads of washing today, its lovely and bright and windy here today so hopefully that will all dry.

We are off to the inlaws for tea tonight so no doubt the boys will be spoiled rotten as usual by grandad!

    Morning All,
Not been on as have been poorly & very down, so nothing positive to say. Have been thinking of you all though & am sending hugs to all those in need also a hi5 to FW.
Today the sun is out for the first time in weeks, so have organised the washing & DP is on line duty. DD stayed at a friends last night so am waiting for her to come home & cook the roast chicken with all the trimmings as have been unable to cook or eat all week  lived on ribena for 4 days but have now graduated to soup, but still can't tolerate anything dairy. Think it has become a bit of a vicious circle now because my meds don't sit well on an empty stomach so am not sure what is making me feel sick still.
any hoo Hope you all have a peaceful Sunday, hugs, spoons & hi5s as always oh & welcome to the newbies x

Ha! This made me laugh. Yes, lovely iron tabs. I take them and ..ahem...yes.
I used to suffer from sickness and not feeling like eating and I then I bought Slimplan I think it was - milkshake type thing ready made up. I'd keep it in the fridge and just have a bit at a time - maybe say I'm going to try 3 gulps. It helped keep nutrients up a bit as well as give something in tum. Ginger biscuits are quite good too.
NJ Laura - sorry you've hit the bump. Know that it will pass and keep that in mind. Sorry that money is tight too.
Lovely autumn colours on the trees outside today. Loads of leaves on the grass when I walked the dogs and I appreciated seeing all the colours.
Off to get a bit of shopping in. Don't need that much as we have stuff in freezer for this week's mealplan. Need to top up fruit bowl as have one apple, one shrivelled looking satsuma and a black banana:cool:. Also need some carrots to add to what i have in for a big pot of soup. Need to get some shampoo as well. I use no SLS stuff but my scalp has felt dry and itchy lately so I'll have a look and see if there is anything that looks like it might help.
Ironing later, just a few bits so it won't take long.
Plan another walk this afternoon. Maybe a longer one than just round the park so I might only take younger dog. That's one thing with working - I do miss my walks and fresh air during the week.
Ok, hope your Sunday is a good one folks. Thinking of those who are under the weather for whatever reason.
