SpeckyFourEyes - Just Plain Awful.

I ordered prescription sunglasses from them back on the 17th March, and 36 days later (plus a !!!! and bull excuse about my prescription that I've never got off any other optician) I've still not seen the glasses.

I've emailed specky bloody foureyes (and phoned 'em, and used that website messenger thing that they completely ignored) and next step'll be to open a dispute with Paypal and hopefully get my money back.

My order turned up today (order number 017680) and the reading lenses I paid for have not been put in them. The glasses I received still have the manufacturer stamped plastic lenses that do not magnify anything at all, they are clear and marked with BENCH (etched) all over the plastic. I ordered reading lenses! and they have not been put in my glasses. Help please, tried to phone and they are closed!

I can't believe they have sent out glasses without the lenses I ordered and paid for! Disgusted!

This is where they get you with PayPal - you do not have buyer protection with custom made items! so it seems none of us will get our money back. I am going to go to Trading Standards and report them!

I ordered from these last year and it took about 4 weeks for them to arrive. I remember when I phoned them to see where they were I was told where did I see the offer and said MSE, he said over the course of 3 days of the offer (from Friday to Monday) they had some 2000+ orders and couldnt believe it, they normally get some 200 orders over a normal weekend.

I have also jsut ordered some on Friday for reading but more than happy to wait for the price I paid
