Npower's Go Fix 8 tariff - £100 voucher - Existing customer

Hi all

I am slightly confused. The latest round of Martin's email says that if you go switch to Npower's Go Fix 8 tariff via one of the comparison sites you'd get £100 voucher. Apparently this also applies to existing Npower customers. I am an existing Npower customer (on a different tariff) so I would supposedly qualify. Could anybody confirm whether that is actually the case?

Cheers

Would anyone from the MSE forum people (Martin's people) please have any more info regarding this (as it refers to one of the articles published on the site)?

    Many thanks
  • Hi.

Just checked, via the 'chat' facility on the uSwitch site. Apparently you can switch even though you are an existing Npower customer; and qualify for the vouchers. (By the way has anybody used 'Love2Shop vouchers? - personally never heard of them!)

As a current npower customer I applied for this offer online last Thursday. I definitely did read somewhere else other than MSE that it applied to existing customers, but tracking back, I can't find where atm.

Although I received a confirmation email from moneysupermarket, I haven't had anything from npower yet. It does say they will send the welcome pack out within a week so there's another couple of days yet, but am wondering a bit about it as npower are usually very prompt about sending out confirmation emails.

I keep checking to make sure the offer is still current. My suspicious mind is worried it'll get pulled and they'll deny all knowledge of receiving my application, as the money supermarket confirmation email makes no mention of the £100 voucher offer.

    Will update the thread later.

    Edit to add

If you type your details into the moneysupermarket comparison site, then click on the Npower Go Fix8 link, it will confirm the deal is available to existing customers.

Regarding the £100 worth of Love2shop vouchers – has anyone got any experience of these?

I’m mainly asking if you can use the £100 in one go at Argos for instance? (or are they broken down into smaller amounts and cant be used altogether in one transaction).

I've seen nothing to assume that they are anything but normal vouchers that you would use instead of cash, without any restrictive conditions attached other than expiry date

Thanks Bronnie – looks ok then.

Npower’s other discounted rate would be slightly cheaper for me, but as long as the vouchers are useable, this fixed rate coupled with the voucher deal included more than makes up for it.

    Hi all,
I am thinking to take up this offer, but my current contract EDF O/S-V7 not expire until 31/12/2011. Does anyone know how long to take them switch? thanks
  • Dear nanjo
I really think 2011 has been long enough with adding another month onto it.
