TBH I dont think this would happen/convince them. The other day I was asked to start work at 8.30 am as our store has now started opening 30 mins before every other one in the high street. Was the only member of staff there aside from the manager til 10 am! In the 30 mins til the normal 9 am opening time we took 2 or 3 transactions with a grand total of less than 2 quid. When you factor in my 30 mins wage, 30 mins of manager, the tills, lights and other electricity there was NO way this was at all worth it.:cool:I am all for a campaign to encourage people to not go shopping on Christmas/Boxing/New Years Day. If enough people stayed at home on these days, then shops would end-up losing enough money to convince them that it was not worth their while opening, so will give their employees the day off as they should. What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0
