Please help with advice on boohoo.com!!

:jHi
I recently purchased 2 items from boohoo.com, a pink dress at £18 and a beige dress at £20. I needed them next day delivery so paid £5.99 for this service. I also found a discount voucher(roughly 15%) so this took £5.70off my overall total so in the end for the two dresses and next day delivery, i ended up paying £38.29.
So the items arrived, the pink one didnt fit and it turned out the beige one had noticable faulty stitching so i had to send this back. A bit annoyed as obviously i had paid next day delivery for this.
So when i sent them back and my refund came through, boohoo.com had only refunded me £32.30 as they said that i wouldnt get my delivery fee back or my discount of 15%. I do not understand this, how could i pay £38.29 and only get £32.30 back? The 15% discount voucher basically made this free delivery and it looks as though they are tring to take another 15% off me? Please help!
Also the item requested was faulty and i have complained to them that i am not happy paying £5.99 for the delivery service when they have provided me with a faulty good!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you returned under Distance Selling Regulations you should be entitled toa full refund (including original postage).
However (depending on their terms) you will likely be liable for return costs for the change of mind item and for the faulty item they would be liable if rejecting under Sales of Goods Act. However if you returned them in a single parcel I can't imagine you being entitled to return costs refunded.
If you used their service for returns whereby they pay, then they are entitled to deduct from the refund the direct costs of return postage for the change of mind aspect of the order. Depends how their returns policy works.0 -

This isnt true for express/next day delivery. Only for standard delivery costs afaik. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

You know what they say about mixing business with pleasure :P
Putting "x" at the end of official correspondence would just make me think i'm dealing with a 15 year old and not a professional adult. I like to know that the people I do business with are competent professionals.
While the OP wouldn't give me cause for concern not to order from this company, the "Social Media Advisor's" would. There is no way in hell I would order from them now.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Good grief, if this is really offical from Boo hoo then they have just destroyed their credibility as an online retalier.
I suggest you seriously need to read up on your responsibilities - I certainly would not touch you with a bargepole after a post like that.
Reported anyway.
I hope it stays, it will serve as a warning to others not to go anywhere near boohoo. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

I thought that sort of thing was the oldest trade in the world though

Seems their social media advisor (seriously, where on earth do they come up with these job titles? They try to make even the most mundane job titles fancy) doesnt even know their own policies.
The £2 restocking charge is only applicable when you are returning outside of the DSR's and states as such on their website. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

I think you're referring to the revised regulations coming in.. (can't remember what year now)
At the moment postage should be refunded in full, however the revised regulations will mean if the consumer upgrades shipping at a greater cost they will only be entitled to a refund of the standard shipping service.0 -
What a shocker! Very poor showing BooHoo (if that is really who you are!).Thinking critically since 1996....0
