Inspired by the 'what did you learn in 2011' thread i thought i would ask what you want to learn next year and maybe we could all revisit this thread in 12 months time and see it we achieved it?
For me, next year i will be moving out of my rental and (fingers crossed) into my own home. This will mean i can have a veggie patch! :j I dont want anything too big but if i could grow some tomatoes and cucumbers, garlic maybe and onions along with a couple of fruit trees i would be so pleased with myself!
What would you like to learn?

I want to learn to knit. I'm currently with the aid of Youtube tutorials learning how to sew and have made a few bits and pieces. Working up to making myself an apron and Kindle cover. I'd love to be able to knit hats and scarves and jumpers by next Christmas though.0

We got an allotment this year but a combination of lack of time due to to work commitments and then me slipping a disc in my back meant that we didn't get to devote much time to it. So next year also I hope to learn lots about growing veggies.
Also want to learn how to stop buying cookbooks. Does anyone know how to do this? I've been trying for years...0 -
To learn how to crochet properly (just learnt the very basics at mo) so that I can cosy our house up with brightly coloured, warm throws for next winter.
Also - to perfect the yorkshire pudding and find the ultimate cornish pasty recipe. I'm trawling Youtube for that one.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Some mindfulness and the ability to "stay in the moment" and appreciate it, rather than letting my mind escape to the next thing I need to do.
And hopefully this will allow me to enjoy baking and crafting more, without feeling guilty!0 -
We make a point of learning something new every year and have done this for many years now.
In the past, amongst other things, we have done falconry, Japenese Taiko drumming, navigation and scuba diving (we also do cheap things too as that list sounds as though we are made of money!). Next year we are having to save like mad for major work on our house and so I am going to learn to play the guitar. My husband already plays and so no cost involved in this one. However, in 2013 I want to learn to drive a tank.0
