Thanks for this, over the years I've done many, many trials and got lots of cashback etc. It used to be good when there was more competition. Here's a link to that used to work to cancel without needing to phone, just make sure you're logged into lovefilm before using

I have add success with this now

1) Sign up with code - lite package
2) Add 10 DVD to your list - they will send you 1 at a time only!
3) When they dispatch your first on wait 5 days and you will have the code sent you you via email for Amazon
4) Remove all DVDs from list (HAVE TO DO BEFORE STEP 5, OTHERWISE THEY WILL KEEP SENDING THEM TO YOU!)
5) Post back DVD
6) Cancel Accout (can also do before 5)

Just add films into your rental list and then set the priority, which one would you like to receive first and wait for them to get it sorted. Usually done within a day or so.

i also did this but I think I will keep my account as I use it for PS3 games and for 6 a month I can get 2 games , a deal that i more cooler than blockbuster which is 5 quid for 5 nights... per game...

Love film is good and I hve just done this. But as a side note if you sign up to blockbuster's vip section you get 4 rentals for free and and 4 half price ( with another rental) so you can get 2 for £5 rentals and 2 for £7.50 plus you also get vouchers for free cola, free popcorn, and 3 free bags of sweeties.... I like there option as well as a "try before you buy" and if you want to buy the game you get the rental price off your new buy. In which case if you rental 2 games and buy one of them you will get £5 off the game and have rental two for £5 which is a good deal in my book ( if that makes sense) :-)

Oh and BB also have loads of games 2 for £20 games like LA noire etc...which means if we just wait a couple of months I can get them 1/3 off the original price for preowned. I want game but I don't like paying £30-40 for them.
