Make sure you get your voucher. Then remove the other titles from your list.
Then return the disc .. make sure your disc has been returned. Then wait until it's later 11pm etc. and you'll be able to cancel the account online rather than phoning Lovefilm..Oliver, i'm just curious as to what to do now my first DVD has been despatched. I only want one to arrive during the trial.
Do I send the first disc back and then remove the 10 titles in my rental list?
Thanks. If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)0 -

Some have had to wait 30 days for the voucher though. And with the trial lasting just 14 days, it might not arrive before the trial ends.
I thought you had to receive the first disc, then you've secured the voucher, send that disc back and cancel as soon as they receive it if you like.0 -
Please note that the voucher is going to be sent to your e-mail, not the home address as your disc is posted to. Check your e-mail. If necessary, sent them an inquiry like I did, and I got my voucher a couple of days later.
When you cancel your account, please remember to do it after office hours, 6pm should be fine. Otherwise, they'll give you a number to call and the sales person will keep promoting your packages trying to get you to keep your subscription. If you do it late at night, it should take no more than 30 secs.
I cancelled my trial first on Sunday and then returned the disc on Monday and received an email on Tuesday morning saying the account has been successful cancelled.
Remember, get one disc dispatched, let the other 10 stay in your list (if you're using the Light Use package then you won't have to worry about them sending your multiple discs at the same time). Don't do anything. Wait for your voucher. As soon as you get it, remove the 10 titles and cancel the account. You can do it before you return the first disc but it won't be done until they have received the disc.
The trial should last about 28 days??Some have had to wait 30 days for the voucher though. And with the trial lasting just 14 days, it might not arrive before the trial ends.0 -

Thanks a lot for the reply. My account states the trial ends on 29th November. If I don't receive the email with the voucher in the next few days, would it be alright to send the disc back?
I'd then wait to see if I got my voucher shortly after, if not i'll phone or email them (some have had to do this).0 -
I did this awhile ago, no voucher from them ever appeared.0

Going to give this a go, hope it works and isn't too much hassle!
How long should I give them before I start contacting them about the voucher?0 -

As you can see from my quote above I've found the service brilliant. I had 8 dvds of them so far.Charliezoo wrote: »Going to give this a go, hope it works and isn't too much hassle!
