  • Will things be any different this year?

If I knew you in real life, I would have bought your son a present for Xmas last year. Did you not have any friends who realised how dire your finances were and wanted to help make Christmas a bit more special/normal for your son?

This has just reminded me that two years ago a parent in one of my daughter's classes at school went bankrupt (both parents worked together in their own business) and she broke her leg in Nov/December. It was a very stressful time for the family, whose sole focus was keeping their house. I offered to buy stocking fillers for her three girls, which she gladly accepted. I probably spent around £30, but was pleased to have helped them out. I think that is what the Christmas Spirit is really about. Apt to write that on Thanksgiving! I hope things are better for you now.:)

COUNT ME IN...... I DONT HAVE MUCH BUT IM ALL FOR SHARING XXXX I come from a VERY BIG family, I have approximately 24 children to buy for. I have 2 brothers each with children, 2 sisters each with children, I have 2 young half sisters, 2 steps sisters and a step brother with children. (mum an dad divorced lol) It would be easy for us to say lets not buy anymore, but we are all so close, I love all the children to bits and want to buy them a present. What I do is go onto the Wholesale and job lot section on ebay and buy in bulk throughout the year. One lot for boys, one lot for girls and one lot for the babies, I always have plenty left over for birthday presents throughout the year and some to donate to the schools, charities etc. I would be more than happy to spare a few gifts to any child that might be going without xxxxx Seriously!!!! xxxxxx If you need help just say the word xxxxx
