I almost cant be bothered as I've just gotten those copy and paste replies :(
plus its only one strike so cant see it harming my bidding too much....then again it's the principle.

If this is in reference to 'complaining to ebay' then you need to telephone them. Livechat and email are worse than useless.
  • Regarding postage capping, for coats it's currently £4, which is clearly unreasonable for long winter coats, which can be heavy. I have recently seen in a listing something along the lines of "please ignore the £4 quoted for postage, it's actually £9". What do you think about that ? I have a coat that I am not listing because the shortfall on postage would eat into my margin
    Keep calm and carry on

What do I think of that? - I'd ignore it or just buy from a better seller. If postage is capped it is capped, if a seller wants more then add it to the start price.

You can have up to 2kg standard parcels for £4.41.

maybe try listing it as a BIN that takes the higher postage cost into account?

yeah I've got the number on the first page of this thread (cant recall who posted it) but its finding the time as I bet they arent open after 10pm in an evening?
I always do things online and via email as its the only way I can juggle everything I do. Taking time out to sit down and make phone call's isnt really an option sadly...hence why in this case I'm not sure I'm gonna fight it. I it sounds like I'm not greatful or willing to help myself but like I said before, its just not a priority on my to-do list at the moment. Now if it were a second strike, it would be differant,

I'm sorry yeslek, but if you can spare time to write and reply to posts you can make a phone call. I'm not sure why you are rolling over and doing nothing.
