She's down south, cat. Glaf to see you posting, I thought you must be in a dip just now. Put the wine away, and get out for a walk with that lovely dog. I spend far too much time on here, so this will be quick.
FW: Everything still crossed for you tomorrow. If you feel at all wobbly just think of the army of friends willing everything to go your way.
Kezlou: Good luck.
JulieG: You are very wise to take things steady. Rest as much as is humanly possible.
NPM: Thumbs up with the dressing. Hope your DH gets things sorted out. Round here plumbers are like gold dust and can name their price. Don't see how he can lose by going it alone.
Adelight: Happy Birthday!

Am going to spend the afternoon making cakes for the various Xmas Fairs, possibly some apricot mincemeat as well.
Tried tip I found on another thread and washed my hair with Soda Bicarb. this a.m. Seems fine so far.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Oh, Lou, honey, it could be me saying those words! I'm another one who struggles big-time with self-loathing. Have another (((HUG))):o
things are really difficult here. still staying with my friend. i'm stuck in a horrible place at the moment and cant see many ways out of it. i'm not eating again. i am sleeping all the time. still havent managed to fight off this chest infection and cold.
the drs have warned what i am doing to myself but have offeredl ittle help in dealing with it. i see a counsellor but just havent been well enough to go. i've done cbt but it just wasnt for me. i guess they have run out of all options and dont know what to do with me.
*nods* I found cbt to be counter-productive; it isn't for everyone. I'm currently awaiting an appointment with a specialist - it's made more complicated by the fact that I can't cope with seeing a male doctor. Can you say something like "thanks for the warning, but where do I go from here?" Although I guess you probably did that already.
to be honest, the perfect answer to me seems to be a huge box of pills and a bottle of vodka. the only thing that stops me is i dont want ds hating me for it and that my friends have put so much effort into helping me (ones in real life as well as virtual ones)
No, no and no! Trust me, the route back after is horrid. I know from experience. Please, don't even consider it.:(
i dont really know what i hope to achieve by writing all of this here but i know you guys will offer support and wont judge. felt the need to be honest with you all.
What you achieve is friends who admire you being brave enough to be honest, and who send as many coping vibes as possible your way.
sorry i havent read the thread but know jackieg deserves a few big hugs (she puts up with me after all) she has been with me, supporting me throughout all of this. i owe a lot to her. i really do.
sorry there isnt any os in this (well i guess there is if you include little food being consumed).
Ooh, before I forget - Hoppy Birdday Adelight:bdaycake:
Nursing a filthy headache today - I'm guessing it's probably fallout from having to go into Olney on my own yesterday - I'm really scared to leave the house alone, but there wasn't a choice, I just had to bite the bullet and do it. It's weird - I cope ok at the time, but I get very shaky afterwards, which can last for several days.:(
Luckily I don't need to cook dins tonight, as we have the 2nd half of yesterday's lasagne.
Still in an awful lot of pain with my joints and also the long bones in my limbs, too, so housework is happening on a very ad hoc basis; and Mr LW has now had a formal introduction to the loo brush.:D Well, I'm fed up with having to unblock the loo when it's him that blocks it in the first place!_pale_If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

¡Hola!
Well, this is my last full day in Spain for 2011. Two loads of washing including bedding dried in the sunYesterday I tackled mount ironing, I think the ironers from today will wait until I am here again.
Almost packed, just food for the sarnies left in the fridge now. We are bringing some neighbours home with us, so being careful what I pack.
:bdaycake: Adelight
FW - Hope everything goes your way tomorrow, and the idiot gets told were to lose himself.
Lou I echo what the others have said, but set you two little challenges. 1) Have something to eat, no matter how small, irrelevant, not good for you, 4 times a day. A couple of chocolate biscuits, or a piece of fruit, or whatever you can tempt yourself to.
2) Post on here daily and tell us what you have managed to eat, forget it not being OS, we are here, and you will get back to that eventually.
Jackie-G - Oh she of brave face, try Vick for your chest, look after yourself too and have a extra ((hug)) together with Cat
Kezlou - Hope everything goes well in your new venture.
NPM Well done, I think it is one of the things is they to feel they are still their Mummies babies, and dressing him will re-assure him, but as you say at 8, and at school and his Dad's he does do it, so keep strong. Maybe a tiny reward, and the offer of of another one in two items time, giving him the choice of taking two weeks or one to get there? :T (be quicker to do it yourself I know!)
TL well done on getting to the Drs, mine is quite nice too!!
Well better get back to the last minute packing. Going to out for a cheapo meal tonight, as we have cleaned up everywhere now.
Take care all. DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
