    Morning!

OH is still in bed, I think the season is over for him this year, so now we're concentrating on the digger and making money with that, means he works reasonable hours though! Although, we've hired out the tractor for a couple of weeks to a tree surgeon, which is a little bonus.

Lunch today is l/o soup for me and OH has cheese sarnies and what ever else he's ferreted away in his lunch bag. Made a flask for him too.

Dinner is going to be fish, chips and peas as don't fancy cooking anything else later!

Need to get the new clothes powder out the car so i can start doing some washing later, then a general tidy up of the house is all thats needed. Also going to make some hobnobs and need something to make with the raspberries too.

    Morning all,

Hugs to Beth and to JackieG and lots of hugs for Lou.

    FW good luck for tomorrow.

Had a bit of an accident prone day yesterday. I sliced the end of my thumb quite badly when chopping peppers and then I broke my tooth on a hard bit of food. i nearly didn't go to ballet as these things come in threes and I thought I might fall over!:o

Got a busy day at work today but at least it has stopped drizzling. i was beginning to get a bit tired of constantly being wet plus the fact my hair doesn't take kindly to damp weather, I spent all day looking like Brian May from Queen!

Made a lovely vegetarian stir fry for tea last night and just as OH was complaining about the lack of meat ( it was him that asked for more vegetarian food), my lovely neighbour appeared with some tandoori chicken and lamb that was left over from their Eid celebrations.:D

    Tea tonight is sausage bake.

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)
  • Morning!

Yesterday went a bit better, I spent 2 hours in the bath yesterday morning staring at the wall/baby/ceiling instead of staying in bed, and it seemed to really help :)

Some of the Church Ladies who do the flowers came over last night to organise Christmas, DH was a saint and gave them all tea and cake. But I admit it really took it out of me having people here.

So today I have a property visit followed by my flu jab... DS has a virus and cronic headache so is staying home (so the school run is cancelled) I could really do with a rest today, but I have to get up and pop to the shop for paracetamol and get ready and do what needs doing before 9am!

And I have to emails ref. last night's meeting!

I do find I am okay first thing in the morning to go on the computer and get anything needed doing done, but winthin half an hour I get dizzy and i have to come off... so I am struggling to keep up with the threads :(

I am going to send an email now and rest!

Betheebee I have 9 weeks left to go...

((hugs)) to anyone who needs them xxx

    Morning All

Looks like another grey yucky day here

We are going to Bletchley today because I need to get some bits from B&M and TK Max.
We are taking my friend with us because she doesn't drive and she wants to get some Christmas pressies .

DD is at work today and DS is at college so I will get caught up on some wrapping this afternoon while they are out of the house.

Got my TV licence yesterday and it turns out that I have overpaid on the card and so I have £49.50 towards next years licence :D

Bramble......... How about Eton Mess with the raspberries

Best get on and have my shower.

    Morning everyone

Cloudy, overcast, and raining here this morning. DH up and off to work at stupid early o'clock.

Work was much calmer yesterday but steady, and computers actually worked when needed! Dinner last night was quickies, and I remembered to get the beef out of the freezer so all defrosted ready for beef stew and dumplings, mash and veg for dinner tonight - suits this winter weather very well I think.

Have a training session this morning that will last majority of the morning. I'll possibly get time to check my emails etc then my paid working week will be done, will come home and do the unpaid stuff! As usual have all the normal chores to do, getting a bit fed up of washing on radiators to dry, but prefer to have this kind of weather instead of snow, we should be grateful really.

DS1 has an exam today and it's his first proper one, he's petrified and it's not a good subject for him so have done revision work with him but I have said to him to do his best and not to worry, but have hopefully made him realise that he needs to put more time in and revision leading up to the exam not try to cram it in at last minute!

DS2 is making buns at school today, hopefully they will be edible/some left when he comes home!

Have a great day everyone, hugs to those that need/want them, take care.

    Happy Birthday Adelight:beer:

Another damp chilly day here but have had to change the bedding this morning so will have to go in the drier.
DH home today as he has no work, have no idea how we are going to manage, spent all night worrying about it, just have to get on and hope it picks up.:( He will spend the day doing paperwork sending emails and working on the website.
    Tea tonight will be Omelette.
Need a shower and hair wash this morning.
Have a meeting at school this evening about 6th Form, we will walk round as it is literally just around the corner and parking is horrendous.

Sorry about the tone this morning, feeling a bit rubbish and flat, have a good day all J x

    Morning all,
Been up since 4.40 after a rubish nights sleep so came down and put BM & WM on. DD2 phoned to ask if I could take DGD2 to playgroup, just got back, I'll pick her up at 1pm and take her home at 6pm. DD has only had 2hrs sleep due to the baby waking so she needs a break.

I've some lentil soup simmering so that's lunch sorted for DH. Think I'll do stuffed chick breasts, cauli & broc cheese bake with jacket pots, I'll make enough for us DD, SiL and DGD to save DD cooking. I've got some apples so Apple Charlotte it is for their pud. I'll make SiL a packed lunch for tomorrow saving DD more work.
I was going to help DH start to strip the roof, weather permiting, in prep for the new one which is hopefully being delivered tomorrow. Must phone to check delivery.
TBH I don't feel like doing anything but needs must eh !
Not taking in much atm so will just wish all a good day. x
    Adelight, Happy Birthday hun.
